All Indian students in Canada who have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) are allowed to work 20 hours per week during their academic period and full-time during vacations. The most common route taken by Indian students in Canada to reside in the country after graduation is the post-graduation work permit (PGWP). For this, a student needs to have studied at a designated learning institution (DLI) as endorsed and accredited by the Canadian government.
